Sofía Hernández - Fridays for future costa rica
Sofía is a 22-year-old political science student at the University of Costa Rica and a human rights activist, specifically for climate justice and gender equality. She is currently part of Fridays For Future Costa Rica, Escazú Ahora Costa Rica and one of the co-founders of Latinas for Climate, also was part of the first Costa Rican youth delegation to the United Nations Climate Change Conference of Parties. Her areas of expertise are youth and civil society participation in public policy processes, human rights, diplomacy and environmental democracy.
