Domingo Cortinez is a student at the University of Chicago double majoring in Public Policy and Environmental and Urban Studies. A Miami native, he currently serves on the Youth Leadership Council for EarthEcho International where he has taught lesson labs to over 500 elementary and middle school students on the climate crisis and water conservation. Domingo is also a member of the University of Chicago Impact Investing Group and works on the green data team for the Phoenix Sustainability Initiative. Recently, Domingo has also started working as an Everglades Biodiversity Fellow with the National Parks Conservation Association and as a Communications Intern for the Pacific Institute, a water think tank.
