Apurva iyengar - Youth.ify
Apurva is a 17-year-old environmental activist and high school senior from New Jersey. Her passion for using science to help our planet has led her to work with organizations like EarthEcho International (as a member of their Youth Leadership Council) and ThinkOcean Global (as the Regional Coordinator for New Jersey and Delaware). In 2019, she attended Capitol Hill Oceans Week as a member of the 2019 Sea Youth Rise Up delegation, and participated in the United Nation's first Youth Climate Summit. This coming year, Apurva will be a keynote speaker at the Clean Water Celebration in April in Peoria, IL, and begin pursuing a major in environmental science.
