aili scott - Citizens climate lobby
Aili has been passionate about the climate for as long as she can can remember. As a 7th grade student from Truckee, CA, she has seen firsthand the effects of climate change on the snowfall in her mountain town. Aili has been a member of Citizens Climate Lobby for 2 years and is now working as a member of the National CCL Youth Action Team Leadership. In June of 2019, Aili lobbied 2 members of Congress with CCL on Capitol Hill. In the past four years, she has participated in the Shane McConkey EcoChallenge and has organized multiple climate strikes in her area. Aili believes that climate justice is a defining issue of our time, and as the youth of today and the leaders of tomorrow, it is our responsibility to protect our home and fight for a sustainable future.
